Announcements & Communication

As a trusted-family breeder, we understand your perspective as a buyer. We offer you announcements and communication to help you find your future puppy.  Below is information regarding communications we provide for you to follow our AKC Certified female's confirmed pregnancy and the journey the puppies have until they are ready for your home.

Confirmed Pregnancy Announcement: 

Our website will be updated when pregnancy is confirmed, along with the anticipated birth date of the puppies. If we have your email address (from you subscribing or applying), you will receive an additional email notification.​

Weekly Pregnancy Progress:

We will provide updates on the mother's pregnancy on our website. If any unforeseen pregnancy complications negatively impact the mother and/or litter, we will contact you to offer a full refund or add your deposit to a future litter.

Birth Announcement:

​Birth day updates are followed with weekly updates and pictures posted on our website.

Puppy Selection:

After puppies have been seen by the vet (generally 6 to 7 weeks old), we will contact you in order of deposits received (the "Pick Order") to finalize the puppy selection process. This meet and greet may be done in person or virtually. Failure to arrive at your designated time will forfeit your "Pick-Order." We always reserve the right to make the litter's first pick(s).

Puppies Going Home:

At 8 weeks old, your puppy will be ready and excited to go to its new home! Pickup will be made at Robertson's Retrievers & Doodles, or you can make arrangements to have the puppy travel to your home. See the FAQs for more information about travel arrangements.

​You will be scheduled for a pickup time to allow you to ask any questions and give you some helpful information along with our Health Guarantee and vet-check paperwork. You also will be required to provide your veterinarian information and sign the Buyers Responsibility.

​

​If your puppy is not picked up by 9 weeks old, there will be a weekly training/boarding fee communicated and added until your puppy is picked up.
